Christian book reviews for parents

Launching soon

Christian book reviews for parents — coming soon.

Dokilit is a content-review site for Christian parents. We're building honest, Christ-honouring reports on the books children (8–12), teens (13–15) and young adults (16–18) are actually reading — so you know what's inside a book before your child opens it.

What every book review will cover

  • Age rating and guidance. A clear recommended reading age, with the reasons behind it rather than a bare number.
  • Content warnings. Sexual content, language, violence, occult and spiritual themes, and anything else worth knowing — each scored and explained.
  • Virtues to celebrate. Courage, sacrifice, forgiveness and truth-telling get named too. A review is not just a warning list.
  • Talking points. Questions to open a conversation with your child about what they've just read.

Why we're holding the doors shut for now

A review parents can't trust is worse than no review at all. We're re-checking every title against published sources before opening the catalogue, so that each report is grounded in real evidence about the book rather than a guess. When that work is done, the full library of reviews goes live here.
